2018-2019 heating season is over, thank you all! In summary

The group of companies “GlobalGasGroup” successfully held the second 2018-2019 full heating season, the end of which was crowned by hot weather, which came in the first decade of May in the capital of Kazakhstan. As part of the report on the season results, analysts and engineers revealed the main indicators of the company activity, characterizing the project activities as stable, trouble-free and uninterrupted.

To date, “GglobalGasRegazification” LLP is still the first and only gas supply company in Northern Kazakhstan, supplying regasified natural gas methane to consumers. The volume of natural gas sales over the past 2018-2019 season increased by 43% compared to the same period of the last year and amounted to 12 million cubic meters. The average economic benefit of “GlobalGasRegazification” consumers was 27%. This was made possible by complete substitution of natural gas for diesel fuel previously used to meet their energy needs. Moreover, their expenses for payments for environmental emissions have been reduced multiply.

In line with the gasification project implementation strategy, LNG transportation fleet expanded up to 23 cryo-tanks. Also, number of consumers increased; from December 1, 2018, the “Nazarbayev Intellectual School” OJSC boiler room was gasified.

On “Turan” liquefied natural gas regasification complex in the city Nur-Sultan, for the period from October 4, 2018 to May 4, 2019, 10.5 million cubic meters of marketable gas was produced. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the amount of 7310 tons was delivered to the station by road trains for 430 rounds. The peak gas offtake by consumers of Nur Sultan fell on December 2018, when thermometer stem showed -32 degrees, and amounted to 5 733 m3/h.

In Schuchinsk, Akmola oblast, near “"Rixos Borovoe” liquefied natural gas regasification complex, road trains performed 44 rounds. To meet the needs of the RIXOS hotel, 751 LNG tons were regasified at the station. Total volume of commercial natural gas sales for the hotel boiler during the heating season amounted to 1.1 million m3.

It should be noted that immediately after the end of the heating season, a start was given to preparation of the gas supply infrastructure for operation in the next 2019-2020 autumn-winter period. During the summer months, all planned preventive work will be carried out on LNG regasification complexes and distribution pipelines connected to consumers.
