On the Russia-Kazakhstan business forum of August 22, timed to the EXPO 2017 Sverdlovsk oblast week, report on the effective implementation and development of Russia and Kazakhstan energy partnership on the example of GlobalGasGroup and Gazprom transgasEkaterinburg cooperation was presented. The participants and guests of the forum, including representatives of the Government and businesses of the Sverdlovsk oblast and the Republic of Kazakhstan, were addressed by Oleg Mishin, head of the Gazprom transgazEkaterinburg engineering Department, author of many developments in the area of low-tonnage liquefied natural gas production. The forum was followed by a study tour to the “Turan” regasification station, where presently topical gas projects of Astana and northern regions of the ROK were demonstrated to the guests.
Oleg Goncharov, Director to General GlobalGasGroup, firstly introduced a unique for Kazakhstan method of “pipeless” gasification allowing supplying blue fuel to the cities and separate facilities remote from the main pipeline. “Gazpromtransgaz has been developing this method of gas supply for several years. It is gratifying that the fruit of labor of David Davidovich Hidt are implemented nowadays at the international level,” – said Viktor Kiselev, who headed earlier the Ministry of construction and infrastructure development of the Sverdlovsk oblast.
Panayot Saulidi, Director to GlobalGasRegasification, on the rights of the owner of “Turan” complex and expert in the field of construction and gas supply, elaborated on the features of the method of liquefied natural gas regasification, which is based on the “green energy” rules and laws.
Alexander Vysokinski, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk oblast, as well as many delegation members, turned attention to the joint Kazakh-Russian design - a fully gas engine Algabas - presented as an exhibit item on regasification complex location. Being developed on the basis of broadly represented Iveco engine, it meets the basic functional requirements and environmental industry standards and may soon be launched into serial production on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the prospect of large-scale conversion of cargo and quarry machinery to gas.
On the territory of Turan, there is the first Astana gas-filling station (AGFS) that interested the guests. This filling complex supplies gas to eco-friendly MAN buses provided by the Uzbek partners for transportation of the Astana EXPO 2017 Sverdlovsk oblast delegation. Resources and power of station installed at “Turan” liquefied natural gas regasification complex so far, allows supplying environmentally-friendly gas motor fuels to about 30 units of machinery.
Bilateral and trilateral meetings were held with the representatives of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and Akimats (local administrations) of Astana and Kostanai oblasts within the forum. Chief executives of GlobalGasGroup also met with the Vice-President to the Chinese National Corporation for international economic cooperation.
